Is the number size in a dress as important to my actual size?
Actually, the answer is no. You've been on a diet, with better eating habits and exercising. You've lost over 10 pounds and expect to order a size 12 gown. If the chart says so, go right ahead! Before you place your order, you should triple check the size charts from the manufacturer provided on the web site. They're supported by your measurements. If you're on the border of two sizes, we recommend you ordering the larger size. Order the gown to fit your largest measurement size.
i.e.
Bust = size 14
Waist = size 10
Hips = 12
We strongly recommend ordering size 14. Dress sizes are often very different from casual clothing. Keep in mind; it’s much easier to cut a dress down rather than trying to loosen it up, especially with all those elaborate embroideries or such!
But, how do I take my measurements?
Our recommendation always is: have a professional seamstress or tailor in the gown business, preferably, who will alter the gown take your measurements. DO NOT ATTEMPT IN TAKING YOUR OWN MEASUREMENTS - THEY WILL MOST LIKELY BE INCORRECT! Use a measuring tape made of vinyl. When measuring, make sure to wear the shoes with a heel height similar to what you are planning to wear on the day of the event, similar bra or bustier and, if you have one, wear a similar petticoat.

Can I return my dress or cancel my order?
We are very clear to our customers regarding our return policies. We will accept returns on new un-touched non-altered wedding gowns. We do not accept returns on special ordered plus size gowns or specialty ordered gowns such as hollow to hem gowns, special measurement gowns, in stock gowns, or discontinued gowns. We will accept returns on merchandise that is damaged or defective. We must receive a verbal phone confirmation that you would like to return the gown and you acquire a return authorization number from us. All returns must be within 3 days of when the shipment was delivered and dropped off by the carrier. All returned gowns will have a 50% restocking fee applied from the full purchase price of the gown.

How long will it take for my dress to arrive?
Well, it depends. First, depending on the manufacture, your gown may be delivered as quickly as 2-3 weeks! Most of the time it will take 4-8 weeks and but others will take up to 14 weeks. Wedding Dresses tend to take a longer time when special ordered. We always like to say customers should plan ahead. Just to be safe in case alterations are needed and, of course, have some peace of mind. You can also contact us for a delivery estimate. One of our representatives will be happy to inform you via phone, e-mail or through our live chat!
I haven’t received a confirmation e-mail and my order has been placed.
If you haven’t received a confirmation e-mail after 10 business days of placing your order, please contact us immediately. We are a company formed by people, and we as people make mistakes. Please contact us immediately after 10 business days; we don’t want to delay your order because of such a minor mistake. We endeavor our best to serve you with the best quality service so, please don’t hesitate to call!
How much will it cost for shipping?
Free Shipping
Free Shipping is for continental U.S. orders only on select items. All orders outside the continental U.S. will be charged for shipping via UPS.
Upgrading Shipping
Upgrading Shipping will only speed up shipping times; it will not speed up production time. Production time depend on manufacture. We strongly suggest ordering various weeks prior to event.
Orders with Multiple Items
Orders with multiple items will be shipped as one shipment once completed.
Signature Required
A signature will be required on all orders.
Standard Delivery
Unless an expedited service is requested, your order should arrive in approximately 10-14 business days after the designer ships to us. (Weekends are not considered to be business days)
International Deliveries
Taxes, Duties, Tariffs and/or Brokerage Fees
Dress Finesse cannot be held accountable or responsible for any additional charges such as taxes, duties, tariffs, or brokerage fees that may apply at international borders.

How will I know my order has been placed?
When you place an order with Dress Finesse, you will receive an e-mail confirmation momentarily after placing your order. You will receive a second e-mail or a call from us within the next week on a ship date and confirmation. Most manufacturers take around 10 weeks for them to get the merchandise to us. During peak seasons, some manufacturers may require additional time. It will normally take another 5-7 business working days for us to get the merchandise to you. When a manufacturer gives us a ship date, they are normally right on with that date. We only deal with the best manufacturers in this industry.
